Dr. Imam Abdul Hamid Kishk Bashir Yandu
Life Coach | Orator | Mentor
Dr. Abdul Hamid Kishk Bashir Yandu brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in Islamic Law and interfaith dialogue. With a PhD in Hadith, an MA in Tafseer, and a BA in the Fundamentals of Religion, his academic foundation is both deep and diverse. His passion for education is evident through his Diploma in Basic Education and his dedication to nurturing minds and guiding souls.
Currently serving as the Director of Markazul Quran in Philadelphia, Dr. Yandu’s influence extends globally. He is a KAICIID International Fellow and a Fellow at Faith for Our Planet, where he engages in critical conversations on interfaith cooperation and environmental stewardship. His commitment to fostering peace and understanding is further reflected in his roles with the African Union Interfaith Dialogue Forum and the Interfaith Dialogue on Violent Extremism.
Beyond his interfaith work, Dr. Yandu contributes to youth empowerment as a Board Member of the Initiative for Youth Development in Ghana. His multifaceted expertise as a mentor, coach, and orator makes him an invaluable asset to our team and a beacon of insight for those seeking guidance and inspiration.
Imam Abu Yunus
Imaam Abu Yunus is a seasoned Islamic scholar with over 20 years of dedicated experience in Da’wah, passionately calling people to the path of Allah. Throughout his journey, he has actively served as both a student and a guest Imaam across various communities, building strong relationships with respected scholars and students of knowledge throughout the Muslim world. His profound understanding of Islamic ‘Aqeedah, Sunnah, Fiqh, and Shari’ah reflects a comprehensive command of the religion’s foundational sciences.
Fluent in English and well-versed in both spoken and written Arabic, Imaam Abu Yunus effectively bridges linguistic and cultural gaps in his outreach efforts. His experience in community engagement is marked by a deep ability to connect with the youth and to work seamlessly with brothers and sisters from diverse backgrounds. With a strong foundation in Islamic knowledge and a compassionate approach to mentorship, Imaam Abu Yunus continues to inspire, educate, and uplift communities in their spiritual growth and understanding.
